This was our first time ever trying pasties! We had the chicken and cheddar one, and it was good. We also had a couple cookies and grilled cheese sandwich...all yummy! The restaurant had a nice view and the staff were all friendly. Clean restroom.
We visited Rons after Christmas and before the new year . Tried the classic pasty 16 oz . It was a lot of pasty!! The filling was fabulous. Definitely made to perfection. We also muffin and apple fritter but I was too full to taste it at the restaurant. It is peaceful and quiet . Beautiful scenery. Highly recommended it.
Everything is delicious the pasties, the sandwiches, the cookies, the coffee, all of it! Sit inside, warm up and look out over the water. This is fresh food made in house. Also, several great options for the vegetarian, including a veg past and a couple of really nice sandwiches on their homemade bread!

Beef pasties to go all around. Drove about an hour away to eat them and the bottoms were stuck to the bags. Good filling with lots if integrity. Not enough crimp edge to hold and the pastry was a little thin. Nevertheless, voted best pasty of the day by 1 of us and 2nd best buy the other 2 of us.
